Data Architect

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Data Architect with strong hands-on expertise in AWS data platforms and modern data lakehouse architecture.

Mandatory Skills

• AWS Iceberg / Apache Iceberg – Mandatory
• AWS EMR – Mandatory
• AWS Glue – Mandatory
• Apache Airflow
• DynamoDB
• Amazon Kinesis

Candidates without strong hands-on experience in AWS Iceberg, EMR, and Glue will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable AWS-based data lake/lakehouse architectures.
• Design and optimize solutions using AWS Iceberg / Apache Iceberg.
• Develop and manage large-scale data processing workloads using AWS EMR.
• Build ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration solutions using AWS Glue.
• Develop and manage workflows using Apache Airflow.
• Design data solutions using DynamoDB and Amazon Kinesis.
• Define data models, architecture standards, data flows, and integration patterns.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, secure, and cost-effective.
• Collaborate with data engineers, cloud teams, application teams, and business stakeholders.
