Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Data Architect/ Data Modeler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data models that support business needs and enhance data integrity. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that data structures align with organizational goals.

Location:Bangalore

Mode of Work: Hybrid

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models based on business requirements.
  
• Collaborate with stakeholders in finance, operations, risk, legal, compliance and front offices to gather and analyze data requirements.
  
• Ensure data models adhere to best practices for data integrity, performance, and security.
  
• Create and maintain documentation for data models, including data dictionaries and metadata.
  
• Conduct data profiling and analysis to identify data quality issues.
  
• Conduct detailed meetings and discussions with business to translate broad business functionality requirements into data concepts, data models and data products.
  
  

Required Skills and Qualification

• 15+ years of experience as a Data Architect / Data Modeler in financial services or asset management firms.
  
• Strong understanding of buy-side financial domain and business concepts.
  
• Mandatory experience in Private Markets (Private Credit, Private Equity, Real Estate, Alternatives).
  
• Expertise in data modeling techniques: ER modeling, dimensional modeling, normalization/denormalization.
  
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
  
• Ability to translate business needs into scalable data architectures and models.
  
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
  
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in enterprise environments.
  
  

Good to have Skills

• Experience in data warehousing and BI platforms.
  
  
• Knowledge of data governance frameworks, metadata management, and data quality practices.
  
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases.
  
• Certifications in data modeling, data architecture, or related areas.
  
• Experience working in large-scale, globally distributed financial environments.
