Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Architect and design a secure and scalable Data Architecture and Solution Design for the Program that is aligned to NewsCorp Architecture Standards and leverages industry-leading Data frameworks and tools.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications for Data solutions, Data Integrations and Data Models for Program.
- Architect and design Information Architecture and Information Flows to make data available to consumers in required timeframes.
- Conduct workshops with Business and Technology stakeholders for ideation, business case creation and realisation/socialisation of solutions.
- Oversee the development, testing and deployment of Data solutions.
- Create and document technical specifications and design decisions.
- Update Enterprise Data Reference Architecture and Data Roadmaps based on designs and solutions defined for the Program.
Who are you
- Proven experience specifying modern data architectures, frameworks and models that address business needs while balancing cost, capability, and risk.
- Strong understanding of the value proposition associated with Data and Information Architecture.
- Experience architecting and overseeing the implementation of modern data architectures: Data Hub / Data Fabric / Data Mesh / LakeHouse
- Expertise in architecting, designing and overseeing the implementation of cloud data platforms, including GCP and AWS.
- Establishing standards, best practices, and guidelines for data extraction, transformation and consumption to ensure data uniformity across the enterprise.
- Experience developing Data Models for projects and programs.
- Ability to provide design and solution guidance to teams of software developers in the implementation of Data / Information solutions.
- Experience working with stakeholders to create technical visions, high-level architectures, and delivery roadmaps for large programs
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Design scalable and robust AI models
Architectural Design: Create detailed architectural plans for AI systems, including data pipelines, model deployment strategies, and integration with existing IT infrastructure.
