Job Title:

Data Architect

Key responsibilities (please specify if the position is an individual one or part of a team):

1. Assess and analyze source and target systems for migration readiness
2. Define data migration strategy, scope, and approach
3. Design end-to-end data migration architecture and workflows
4. Identify and map data between legacy and target systems
5. Develop data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes
6. Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity during migration
7. Create and execute data validation and reconciliation plans
8. Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements
9. Manage migration tools and technologies (e.g., Informatica, Talend, Azure Data Factory)
10. Plan and execute data migration testing (unit, system, UAT)
11. Monitor and troubleshoot migration issues and performance bottlenecks
12. Document migration processes, mappings, and configurations
13. Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies
14. Support cutover planning and execution during go-live
15. Provide post-migration support and issue resolution

Key Skills/Knowledge:

1. Data migration strategy and planning
2. Source-to-target data mapping
3. ETL development and optimization (e.g., Informatica, Talend, Azure Data Factory)
4. Data profiling and cleansing
5. Data validation and reconciliation techniques
6. SQL and database expertise (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.)
7. Cloud migration tools and platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
8. Knowledge of legacy and modern ERP/CRM systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Salesforce)
9. Data governance and compliance awareness
10. Performance tuning and troubleshooting
11. Risk assessment and mitigation planning
12. Cutover planning and execution
13. Documentation and process standardization
14. Stakeholder communication and coordination
15. Agile and project management methodologies

Experience required:

1. Experience of minimum 8 - 10 years as Data Architect
2. Experience of managing multiple stakeholders.
3. Experience of managing and working with people from different ethnicity and culture.
