The Data Architect – Quality, Transparency, and Privacy (QTP) serves as the enterprise architectural authority, delivery lead, and application owner for enterprise-wide data quality, transparency, and privacy capabilities on the Olympus Data & Analytics platform.

The Data Architect (QTP) is accountable for defining, governing, and assuring enterprise-grade data quality, transparency, and privacy architecture to enable trusted, compliant, and scalable data products across Olympus.

The role acts as the architectural authority, delivery lead, and application owner for QTP capabilities on the enterprise Data & Analytics platform, including the Augmented Data Quality solution built on the Snowflake Lakehouse. It ensures solution quality, scalability, regulatory compliance, and continuous evolution in close collaboration with the DnA Platform team.

As a core member of the Data Governance organization, the role collaborates closely with and guides the Data Excellence team, data owners, and data stewards, embedding data quality, transparency, and privacy principles into endtoend data lifecycles and decisionmaking.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure solution scalability, reliability, and auditability.
  • Represent the application in governance, security, and architecture forums.

Delivery Leadership & Vendor Oversight

  • Act as Delivery Lead for QTP and Augmented Data Quality initiatives, including Data Quality Management activities (e.g., data profiling, cleansing, validation, and remediation) in the context of data migration initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise data quality standards, migration timelines, and downstream consumption requirements.
  • Plan and supervise deliveries executed by internal and external engineers.
  • Guide delivery teams through architectural patterns, standards, and quality expectations.
  • Ensure adherence to approved scope, timelines, budgets, and compliance requirements.
  • Serve as a central escalation point for delivery, quality, or architectural risks.

Operational Oversight & Continuous Improvement

  • Oversee operational performance of data quality, observability, and monitoring capabilities.
  • Collaborate with platform and security teams to ensure SLA adherence and secure operations.
  • Drive continuous improvement through increased automation, advanced detection logic, and proactive remediation.
  • Support incidents, change, and release management from an application owner perspective.

Compliance, Assurance & Transparency

  • Ensure compliance by designing data quality, privacy, and transparency requirements.
  • Support auditability, lineage, explainability, and enterprise data trust.
  • Act as an architectural assurance authority for QTR-related data products and pipelines.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Privacy, IT Security, AI Governance, and Data Governance teams (Data Owners and Stewards)

Supervisor Responsibilities
