Job Description

The Data Architect will design, develop, and manage enterprise-scale data solutions across cloud and on-premises environments. The role involves working with modern data platforms, data lakes, pipelines, and advanced analytics tools to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure data architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement end-to-end data architectures using Azure Data Factory (ADF), HDInsight, Azure SQL, and MS Fabric.
Develop and maintain data pipelines and workflows using PySpark and Python.
Implement and manage data mesh frameworks for distributed data ownership.
Work with Databricks on AWS, Apache Spark, and AWS S3 for large-scale data processing.
Use AWS Glue, Redshift, Athena, and other cloud services for data integration and analytics.
Optimize data workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Incorporate advanced tools and frameworks such as Spark SQL, Spark Streaming, Kafka, AWS Lambda, MLflow, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Airflow, and CloudWatch where applicable.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Hands-on experience with ADF, HDInsight, Azure SQL, PySpark, Python, MS Fabric, and data mesh.
Proven experience with Databricks on AWS, Apache Spark, AWS S3, AWS Glue, and AWS Redshift/Athena.
Knowledge of cloud-based CI/CD pipelines for data workflows.
Familiarity with streaming and messaging platforms like Spark Streaming and Kafka.
Experience with ML/AI frameworks such as MLflow, TensorFlow, or PyTorch is a plus.
Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

Good to Have:

AWS Lambda, CloudWatch, Airflow, Spark SQL.
Advanced experience in data pipeline orchestration and cloud monitoring.
