About the role
Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-wide data architecture and modeling initiatives to support strategic business goals and data transformation programs in a Delta Lakehouse environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise data models using industry-standard methodologies such as Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, and Data Vault.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into effective data solutions ensuring data integrity and governance.
- Drive enterprise data management practices including metadata management, data governance, stewardship, and quality improvements.
- Establish and promote data architecture and modeling best practices to support data modernization and reporting needs.
- Ensure consistency, accessibility, and scalability of data assets across platforms and domains.
Required skills and experience
- Proven experience as a Data Architect, Data Modeler, or Enterprise Data Architect with strong enterprise data modeling expertise.
- Deep knowledge of data modeling methodologies including Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, and Data Vault.
- Solid understanding of enterprise data management principles such as data governance, metadata management, data quality, and stewardship.
- Experience designing scalable data architectures aligned with business objectives and data transformation initiatives.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across business and technical teams.
Nice to have
- Experience working with Delta Lakehouse architecture and modern cloud-based data platforms.
- Background in enterprise-scale data transformation projects.
- Exposure to regulated or data-intensive industries.
