About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior AWS Data Engineer / Data Architect experience with strong expertise in designing, building, and managing modern data lake and lakehouse architectures on AWS. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with AWS data services, particularly AWS Lake Formation and AWS Glue, along with a solid understanding of scalable data ingestion, governance, and modern data platform capabilities. The candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and enhance enterprise-scale data lake and lakehouse architectures on AWS.
• Develop and maintain scalable data ingestion pipelines using AWS-native services.
• Implement and manage AWS Lake Formation for secure data governance and fine-grained access control.
• Build and optimize ETL workflows using AWS Glue.
• Design efficient data storage solutions leveraging Amazon S3 and emerging capabilities such as S3 Tables.
• Collaborate with Data Strategy, Analytics, and Business teams to define technical solutions.
• Implement metadata management, cataloging, and data quality best practices.
• Optimize performance, scalability, and cost of AWS data platforms.
• Support architecture reviews and recommend improvements based on AWS best practices.
• Stay current with emerging AWS analytics and data platform features.
