Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to design, build, and manage scalable enterprise data solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in EDW, Snowflake, advanced SQL, and BI technologies (preferably Looker), along with proven experience managing end-to-end data delivery in an Agile environment. This role requires close collaboration with engineering, analytics, and business stakeholders to enable data-driven decision-making.

• Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and own enterprise data architecture solutions using Snowflake and EDW platforms to support analytics and reporting needs.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of data solutions including data modeling, ingestion, transformation, and visualization layers.
• Develop and optimize advanced SQL queries for high performance, scalability, and data accuracy.
• Define and implement data models (conceptual, logical, and physical) optimized for BI and analytics use cases.
• Enable analytics and visualization by integrating data platforms with BI tools, preferably Looker.
• Establish and manage CI/CD pipelines for data workflows, ensuring automated testing, deployment, and version control.
• Use GitHub for source control, code versioning, and collaboration across teams.
• Work closely with Product Owners, Data Engineers, BI Developers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into data solutions.
• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Track work items, dependencies, and defects using JIRA, ensuring delivery transparency and predictability.
• Ensure data governance, security, quality, and compliance standards are met across the platform.

• Required Skills & Experience8–12 years of overall experience in data architecture, data warehousing, and analytics.
• Strong hands-on experience with Enterprise Data Warehousing (EDW) concepts and implementations.
• Deep expertise with Snowflake, including performance tuning, cost optimization, and data modeling.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL for complex analytical and transformation use cases.
• Experience delivering and supporting BI and analytics solutions, with strong preference for Looker.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end data delivery in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD practices, automation, and GitHub.
• Solid experience working in Agile delivery models and using JIRA for sprint and backlog management.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Good to Have (Preferred Skills)
• Hands-on experience with Looker (LookML modeling, semantic layer design, dashboard development).
• Experience working with Healthcare or Pharmaceutical domain clients/accounts.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Understanding of data governance, metadata management, and data cataloging tools.
• Exposure to real-time or near real-time data processing architectures.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).
