Data Architect

We are looking for an experienced Data Architect / Data Governance Architect to design and evolve enterprise data architecture while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and banking data governance frameworks.

Experience: 9-12 Years

Location: Mumbai

Domain: Banking / Capital Markets

Role Objective:

Design, formalize, and evolve enterprise data architecture (applications, data flows, repositories) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as BCBS239 and GDPR, while aligning with global banking standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and maintain enterprise data architecture across applications and data repositories

Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and data governance standards

Implement data quality, security, and infrastructure best practices

Collaborate with business and technology teams across banking domains such as Global Markets, Global Banking, and Securities Services

Drive data governance initiatives and architecture improvements

Required Skills:

Strong experience in Data Architecture / Data Governance / Data Management

Knowledge of Banking or Capital Markets domain (CIB)

Expertise in data quality, data security, and data infrastructure

Hands-on experience with data management tools such as Collibra, Talend Data Catalog, Ab Initio, or Abacus

Experience with MDM tools (EBX, xDM)

Data visualization experience with Power BI or Tableau

Familiarity with Dataiku for data preparation or machine learning

Experience with architecture tools such as Archi or Power Designer

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with fluent English
