Summary:

As a Data Architect, a typical day involves defining the data requirements and designing the structure necessary for the application. This role includes modeling the data architecture, determining how data will be stored efficiently, and planning the integration of data across various systems. The position requires a thoughtful approach to organizing data to support application functionality and scalability, ensuring that the data framework aligns with the overall project goals and technical environment. Collaboration with different stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into a coherent data design is a key part of daily activities.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
• Lead the development and implementation of data architecture strategies that support business objectives.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and business units to ensure data solutions meet organizational needs.
• Oversee the quality and consistency of data models and integration processes across projects.
• Mentor junior team members to enhance their understanding of data architecture principles and best practices.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Engineering.
• Good To Have Skills: Apache Spark, Bigdata Analytics Architecture and Design, Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling techniques and database design principles.
• Experience with data storage solutions and data integration methodologies.
• Ability to design scalable and efficient data pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and distributed computing frameworks.

• The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in Data Engineering.
• This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
