The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in data warehouse/ lakehouse architectures, data engineering, and analytics with the ability to envision and articulate AI-enabled solutions for customer business challenges. This role operates at the intersection of data platforms, integrations, analytics, and AI-helping customers reimagine decision-making and operational workflows through GenAI, intelligent agents, ML-driven insights, and advanced analytics on unified data foundations.
Unlike a pure data engineering role, this position is customer-facing and solution-oriented, requiring strong presales skills, value-based storytelling, and the ability to design conceptual architectures that integrate AI/ML with enterprise data platforms, applications, and operational systems.

Qualifications & Experience
- 12+ years of IT/solution architecture experience with at least 6 years in Data integration, warehousing and analytics.
- 3-5 years of presales/solutioning exposure, with practical experience in demos, POCs, or customer workshops.
- Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Data Integration, Oracle Analytics/Fusion Data Intelligence, and multi-cloud ecosystems.
- Familiarity or experience with products like Databricks, Microsoft Fabric
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience influencing both technical and business leaders.
- Experience contributing to community initiatives, publishing whitepapers, or speaking at tech events.
- Familiarity with Oracle's broader Data, Analytics ecosystem and enterprise integration patterns with competitive information is a plus.
Customer Engagement & Presales
- Lead customer workshops, demos, and RFP solutioning, translating business pain points into datalake solutions and AI-enabled use cases.
- Articulate Oracle's AI Data Platform, Analytics and AI solutions to business and IT stakeholders.
- Lead solutioning to deliver compelling demo assets.
Solution Architecture & Design
- Design and propose modern data and analytics architectures-spanning data lakes, lakehouses, and enterprise applications-integrating Oracle SaaS, on-prem, and third-party systems using contemporary integration patterns, while incorporating selective AI capabilities such as vector search, RAG, and intelligent automation where they add business value.
- Provide design decisions, estimates, and staffing/schedule inputs for customer pursuits.
Technical Thought Leadership
- Contribute to best practices through blogs, whitepapers, and reusable presales assets.
- Actively participate in Oracle technology forums and represent the Data and Analytics portfolio in external events.
- Mentor junior solution engineers in presales methodologies and demo storytelling
