Job Description Summary

Your Role
Function Data Analysts (FDA)
- Clearly communicate and gather inputs and then translate functional needs into structured specifications for IT/BI teams. Translate business needs into clear analytical and technical requirements.
- Validate KPI logic, interpret anomalies, and ensure reporting reflects real operations, to investigate trends, identify root causes, and prevent decision errors.
- Validate logic, metrics, SQL, and dashboard outputs. Lead conversations around User acceptance Tests and help the Manufactruring teams in clearing of queries.
- Coach key stakeholders and drive adoption, usage, and training for dashboards within the function.
- Identify new analytics opportunities and support project delivery.
- Act as a solid connector between IT, Global Data Teams and Manufacturing. Play a key role
- Standardize all data source & tables across departments. Work with functions to increase data & digital literacy
- Provide with clear visualization to management with MES data inference
- Take care about data security needs & compliances working with Cyber Security teams
- Provide support to function with clarity and simplify source & entry of data
- Help functions from duplicate data entry & establish clear linage
- Use technical aptitude including development of manufacturing centric tools and dashboards using Power BI, DAX fundamentals, data modelling, SQL basics, and reading data dictionaries
- Collaborate effectively with IT, data engineering, BI developers, and crossfunctional stakeholders in driving towards logical conclusions wherever there is conflict.
Basic Qualifications(requirements)
- BE/ B Tech in any eng discipline
- Engineering/Computer/IT Diploma/Degree from reputed organization
- Min 810-year experience in factory function/data management
- Knowledge of basic data dashboard tools like Teblue, Power Bi, SQL Bi etc.
- Basic knowledge of SAP, ERP, other web base systems.
Desired Qualifications
- Data Analytics or Data Science Certification Course
- Demonstrated integrity accept and adhere to high ethical, moral, and personal values while working, communications, and actions when dealing with others.
- Lean Mindset and understanding of lean tool. (5S, TPM, Kaizen)
- Effective communications skills at all levels from production associate to management
- Ability to provide clear explanations and train others in Data management.
