Key Responsibilities
Data Platform Operations & Administration
. Lead the day-to-day operations, support, and administration of Data & Analytics platforms.
. Ensure platform stability, availability, performance, and operational excellence across supported environments.
. Monitor platform health and proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.
. Establish and maintain operational procedures, standards, and documentation.
. Coordinate platform support activities across internal teams and external vendors.
. Develop and maintain operational roadmaps to improve platform reliability and supportability.
Platform & Application Administration
. Provide system administration and platform management for:
o Teradata
o Oracle Databases
o Oracle Business Intelligence Applications (OBIA)
o SAP Business Objects
o Microsoft Power BI
o Tableau
o SAS
o Informatica PowerCenter
o Informatica MDM
o Other Data & Analytics applications and tools
. Manage platform configurations, user administration, access controls, scheduling, and system maintenance activities.
. Administer platform security in accordance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
. Coordinate software licensing, environment management, and vendor support engagements.
. Support capacity planning and performance optimization initiatives.
Database Administration
. Lead administration activities for enterprise Oracle and Teradata database environments supporting analytics workloads.
. Coordinate database maintenance, tuning, monitoring, backup validation, and recovery testing activities.
. Partner with database administrators and infrastructure teams to ensure optimal database performance and availability.
. Support data platform reliability, scalability, and business continuity objectives.
Upgrade & Release Management
. Plan, coordinate, and oversee platform upgrades, patches, hotfixes, and version migrations.
. Evaluate platform releases and assess impacts to existing integrations, reports, and users.
. Coordinate testing, deployment, and validation activities across multiple environments.
. Ensure successful transition of changes into production environments with minimal business disruption.
. Maintain platform currency in alignment with vendor support requirements.
Incident, Problem & Service Request Management
. Own day-to-day management and resolution of ServiceNow incidents, requests, and operational support tickets.
. Prioritize workload based on business impact, severity, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
. Coordinate cross-functional troubleshooting efforts to rapidly resolve platform issues.
. Lead root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurring incidents.
. Monitor ticket trends and develop continuous improvement initiatives to reduce support volumes.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
. Serve as the primary operational contact for platform vendors and support providers.
. Manage vendor escalations and support cases through resolution.
. Partner with Data & Analytics teams, business stakeholders, infrastructure teams, and security teams to address platform needs.
. Communicate platform status, risks, planned maintenance, and ongoing initiatives to leadership and stakeholders.
Governance, Compliance & Continuous Improvement
. Ensure platforms comply with established security, governance, audit, and operational standards.
. Maintain accurate system inventories, architecture documentation, and operational procedures.
. Identify opportunities to automate administrative tasks and improve operational efficiency.
. Implement best practices for monitoring, maintenance, performance management, and platform support.
. Support disaster recovery planning, testing, and operational readiness activities.

Qualifications Education
. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
. Master's degree preferred.
Experience
. 7+ years of experience supporting enterprise Data & Analytics platforms, databases, or business intelligence environments.
. 3+ years of experience leading platform operations, system administration, or technical support teams.
. Experience managing enterprise application upgrades, system maintenance, and production support activities.
. Experience supporting large-scale data and analytics environments with multiple integrated platforms.
Technical Skills
. Strong experience administering and supporting:
o Teradata
o Oracle Databases
o Oracle Business Intelligence Applications (OBIA)
o SAP Business Objects
o Microsoft Power BI
o Tableau
o SAS
o Informatica PowerCenter
o Informatica MDM
. Knowledge of database administration concepts, SQL, performance tuning, and platform monitoring.
. Experience with incident, problem, and change management processes.
. Experience using ServiceNow or comparable IT Service Management (ITSM) platforms.
. Understanding of platform security, authentication, authorization, and access management.
. Familiarity with enterprise batch processing, scheduling, and operational support functions.

. Experience with high-availability and disaster recovery environments.
