We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and interpreting data to generate actionable business insights.
In this role, you will work closely with business, product, operations, finance, marketing, and technology teams to understand their data requirements and deliver accurate reports, dashboards, and analysis. The position offers an excellent opportunity to work with modern analytics tools and contribute directly to data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Collect, clean, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources
Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and analysis
Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools
Create recurring and ad-hoc reports for business stakeholders
Identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and opportunities within datasets
Track and analyze KPIs and business performance metrics
Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency
Work with stakeholders to understand business problems and convert them into analytical requirements
Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support business decisions
Automate repetitive reporting and data analysis processes where possible
Maintain documentation of datasets, reports, dashboards, and analytical processes
Collaborate with data engineers and other technical teams on data pipelines and reporting requirements
Present analytical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Support forecasting, trend analysis, and business performance analysis
Ensure appropriate handling of confidential and business-sensitive data
Required Skills & Qualifications
1–4 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Reporting, or a related field
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Analytics, Information Technology, or a related discipline
Strong proficiency in SQL
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, formulas, charts, and data manipulation
Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, or another business intelligence platform
Understanding of data cleaning, transformation, and visualization techniques
Basic to intermediate knowledge of statistics and data analysis
Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills
Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
Ability to communicate complex findings in a simple and understandable manner
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple analytical tasks and meet deadlines in a remote environment
Preferred Skills
Candidates with experience in the following areas will have an added advantage:
Python or R for data analysis
Power BI DAX and data modeling
Power Query
ETL / ELT processes
Data warehousing concepts
MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or similar databases
Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Google Analytics or similar analytics platforms
Statistical analysis and forecasting
Automation of reporting workflows
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments
