Data Analyst

Job Summary: We are looking for senior Data Analyst to collect source data, analyze the data and provide business transformations for developer in Mapping sheet, and interprets data to help businesses to make informed decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Should be able to query on data, use statistical techniques, visualization tools, and databases to identify trends and insights. The role involves cleaning data, creating reports, and optimizing data-driven strategies.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in SQL, Python, Excel, or BI tools.
• Have strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amount of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Hands-on experience in working for policy and customer data analysis
• Worked with subject matter experts and project team to identify, define, collate, document, and communicate the data movement requirements
• Experienced in designing, planning, and managing the data migration process
• Prepared data migration plans including migration risk, milestones, quality, and business sign-off details
• Performed source system data analysis to manage source to target data mapping
• Expertise in Identifying risks and providing solutions on the potentially to-be affected areas that get impacted during migration
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to fully understand data content and ascertain what specific data columns are required for migration
• Experience in analysing the methods used for transforming existing data into specified format for Insurance Platform
• Experienced in mining and analysing large datasets to draw valid inferences
• Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings and insights from data
• Analysing and mining business data to identify patterns and correlations among the various data points
• Good experience in working on metadata development and implementation for Insurance products
• Good communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills

Requirements:

• Overall, 3+ years of skills with Data Analysis and Data Warehousing related projects.
• Strong in Data analysis
• Flexible in working hours around 10.30 PM and interact with onshore team for the discussion as per the project need
• Good exposure on doing data analysis and building transformation logics
• Must have strong SQL querying skills
• Worked in agile methodologies
• Must have excellent oral and written communication with need to interact clients directly
• Must be both individual contributor, good team player and self-motivated to take on challenges
