Data Analyst - Patient Journey Analytics Consultant (RWD/RWE)

We are looking for a skilled Data Analytics professional with strong expertise in Real-World Data (RWD) and Real-World Evidence (RWE) to support patient journey analytics initiatives across multiple therapeutic indications. The consultant will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver actionable insights from healthcare datasets and help strengthen patient journey analysis capabilities on an ongoing basis.

Location: Bangalore

Duration: 3-6 Months (Contract)

Experience Required: 4–6 Years

Key Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day patient journey analytics activities across various disease indications.
• Analyze and interpret healthcare datasets including:
• Open & closed claims data
• Electronic Health Records (EHRs)
• Patient registries and other RWD sources
• Develop and enhance patient journey frameworks including:
• Treatment pathways
• Lines of therapy (LoT)
• Switching patterns
• Adherence and persistence analysis
• Conduct burden of illness studies including:
• Healthcare Resource Utilization (HCRU)
• Cost and utilization analysis
• Perform outcomes research and analytics including:
• Overall Survival (OS)
• Progression-Free Survival (PFS)
• Other clinical and economic outcomes
• Collaborate with business and analytics teams to define methodologies, validate outputs, and present insights.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Domain Expertise: Strong understanding of:

• Real-World Data (RWD)
• Real-World Evidence (RWE)
• Claims, EHR, and registry datasets
• Lines of Therapy (LoT) concepts
• Adherence & persistence metrics
• Burden of illness studies
• HCRU and cost analysis
• Outcomes analysis (OS, PFS, etc.)

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in:
• SQL
• Python
• R programming knowledge is good to have

Preferred Profile

• 4–6 years of relevant experience working with pharma/biotech clients or healthcare consulting organizations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced project environment.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
