Your Mission (The Work That Needs Doing):
As our first dedicated Senior Data Analyst, you won't be a cog in a machine. You will be the architect of our data function. You will roll up your sleeves to answer critical questions: How do we measure the success of a student's entrepreneurial journey What data predicts a startup's potential How do we optimize our operations to support growth You will build the models, dashboards, and insights from the ground up that help our leadershipand our student entrepreneursmake smarter decisions.
What You Will Actually Do (No Corporate Jargon):
Find the Story in the Chaos: Dig into datasets from admissions, academics, incubation, and operations to find the patterns that matter.
Build the Tools We Need: Create the first versions of dashboards and reports that give everyonefrom faculty to foundersclear visibility into what's working.
Answer the So What: Don't just deliver numbers. Tell us what they mean and what we should do next. Your analysis will directly influence strategy.
Teach a Bit: Help our community (staff and students alike) understand and use data better. We're all learning.
We Need Someone Who:
Sees Problems as Puzzles: You get energy from untangling a messy dataset.
Can Start from Zero: You're comfortable defining projects yourself, not just executing a pre-set list of tasks.
Talks Human: You can explain a complex model to a professor, a dean, and a student entrepreneurand make them all understand.
Has the Tools: You're fluent in SQL, Python/R, and a visualization tool like Tableau or Power BI. A strong stats background is non-negotiable.
Wants Impact Over Perfection: You know when a good enough insight now is more valuable than a perfect one next month.
