Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst who can transform raw data into meaningful insights that drive business decisions. In this role, you will work closely with data engineers, analytics engineers, and business stakeholders to build reliable data models, maintain analytics-ready datasets, and deliver insights through dashboards and reports.

The ideal candidate has strong SQL skills, hands-on experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake or similar), exposure to dbt-based transformations, and the ability to clearly communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders using BI tools.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Insights

Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.

Translate business requirements into clear analytical outputs and metrics.

Support decision-making by providing data-backed recommendations to stakeholders.

Data Modeling & Transformation

Build and maintain analytics-ready tables and views using SQL and dbt.

Ensure data models are accurate, scalable, and aligned with business logic.

Collaborate with data engineers to optimize data structures and query performance.

ELT & Data Reliability

Work with existing ELT pipelines to ensure clean, well-structured data for analysis.

Implement data validation checks and basic testing to maintain data quality.

Monitor data freshness, consistency, and reliability across reporting layers.

BI & Reporting

Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.

Enable self-service analytics by providing well-documented and trusted datasets.

Customize reports for different stakeholders (operations, finance, leadership, etc.).

Documentation & Collaboration

Document metrics definitions, data models, and reporting logic.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote, international environment.

Communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience : 35 years in a Data Analyst or Analytics-focused role.
• SQL: Strong proficiency in writing complex, optimized SQL queries.
• Data Warehousing : Hands-on experience with Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
• dbt Exposure : Experience using dbt for data transformations, testing, or documentation.
• BI Tools : Working knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar tools.
• Version Control: Basic familiarity with Git or collaborative development workflows.

• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setup.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.

• Prior experience working with offshore or international clients.
