Job Description - Data Analyst
You should apply if you have:
- 2–3 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or in a similar analytics role.
- Strong SQL skills with the ability to write complex analytical queries involving multiple tables, CTEs, window functions, and performance optimization.
- Hands-on experience building business dashboards using Power BI (preferred) or other BI tools such as Metabase, Tableau, or Looker.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to convert business questions into structured analyses.
- Experience working with large datasets and translating data into meaningful business insights.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence in presenting insights to senior stakeholders.
- The ability to independently manage ambiguous requests while balancing multiple priorities.
- An AI-first mindset and comfort using AI tools to improve analytical workflows and productivity.

Skills Required:
Technical Skills
- Advanced SQL (joins, CTEs, window functions, query optimization, aggregations)
- Data analysis and business analytics
- Dashboard development using Power BI (preferred)
- Power BI DAX and data modeling (preferred)
- Data visualization and storytelling
- Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets (advanced)
- Python for data analysis and automation (good to have)
- Understanding of relational databases and data warehousing concepts
Business & Analytical Skills
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking
- Ability to translate ambiguous business questions into structured analyses
- KPI definition, tracking, and performance reporting
- Root-cause analysis and hypothesis-driven problem solving
- Business acumen across Product, Marketing, Operations, and Commercial functions
- Experience working with D2C, E-commerce, Retail, or Consumer business metrics (preferred)
What will you do
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle of business data requests — dashboards, reports, and ad hoc analyses — while meeting defined SLAs.
- Build and maintain scalable dashboards, primarily in Power BI.
- Convert recurring manual requests into automated, self-service reporting solutions.
- Translate complex business questions into clear, actionable insights.
- Work closely with stakeholders across Product, Brand, Marketing, Operations, and the Founder's Office.
- Audit and optimize existing dashboards by consolidating, improving, or retiring redundant reports.
- Ensure reporting accuracy, consistency, and data quality across business functions.
- Support strategic business decisions through data storytelling and meaningful visualizations.
What success looks like
- During your first six months, you'll:
- Bring analytics BAU under control, with a median turnaround time of two days or less.
- Improve SLA adherence across stakeholder requests.
- Consolidate and optimize the Power BI reporting landscape.
- Convert recurring business requests into reusable self-service dashboards.
- Improve dashboard reliability and minimize reporting disruptions.
