About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Power BI Developer to design and develop interactive dashboards and business intelligence reports. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand analytics requirements and translate data into meaningful insights for decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Develop dashboards, reports and visualizations using Power BI Desktop
- Connect with data sources including SQL databases, Excel, APIs etc.
- Build optimized data models (Star/Snowflake schema)
- Develop DAX measures, calculated columns & KPIs
- Prepare ETL logic using Power Query
- Implement Row Level Security (RLS)
- Publish and manage reports in Power BI Service
- Create scheduled data refresh models & gateways
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Business, IT, Analytics)
- Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize reports
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Power BI
- Strong knowledge of Power Query, M Language, and DAX
- Good SQL experience
- Data modelling experience
- Experience working with relational & cloud data sources
- Knowledge of dashboard UX and visual best practices
Good to Have
- Azure Data Services (ADF, Data Lake, Synapse)
- Python / R experience
- Power Automate & Power Apps
- Experience in Advanced Analytics
- Knowledge of enterprise-grade BI architecture
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field
- 26 years of hands-on BI development experience
- Microsoft Power BI certification (nice to have)
