About the Role
This role is ideal for fresh graduates who want to build a strong career in data analytics at a fast-growing startup. Candidates will work closely with business and product teams to derive insights from data and support data-driven decision making.
This role involves working with MySQL databases, Excel/Google Sheets, SaaS and CRM platforms to analyze data and support data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate should take ownership of assigned tasks, demonstrate initiative, and be eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced startup environment.
What You'll Do
- Write and work with MySQL queries to help answer real business questions using data.
- Analyze datasets and prepare reports using MS Excel or Google Sheets to support decision-making.
- Use product analytics tools to track performance and generate insights.
- Work with CRM systems to understand customer and business data.
- Help with data cleaning, validation, and documentation to maintain high data quality.
- Ensure reports and dashboards are accurate, consistent, and reliable.
- Over time, work on ETL processes using Python and its data libraries to automate data workflows and improve data pipelines.
- Take ownership of tasks from start to finish and deliver outcomes within timelines.
- Continuously learn new tools and technologies while collaborating with the team and sharing knowledge.
What is Required
- Strong hands-on experience in MySQL.
- Good working knowledge of Python for data analysis, including writing scripts for data processing and analysis.
- Hands-on experience with Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib for data manipulation and visualization.
- Knowledge in MS Excel / Google Sheets, including Pivot Tables, advanced formulas, lookups, and data validation.
- Basic understanding or exposure to Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau for reporting and dashboard creation.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce for understanding and analyzing business data.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and coordination skills to work with different teams.
- Self-motivated, accountable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced startup environment.
Would Be Cool If You Have- Basic understanding of ETL processes and data pipelines.
- Exposure to product analytics tools such as Mixpanel, Amplitude, or Google Analytics.
- Understanding of data visualization best practices for dashboards and reports.
Education
- B. Tech graduate or above from Computer Science / IT / or any Computer-related stream
Compensation
- Internship Stipend: Based on skills and interview performance
- Candidates who perform well during the internship will be converted to Full-Time roles
- Full-Time CTC will be decided based on performance during the internship
Interview Process
The selection process will consist of three rounds of interviews:
- Technical Round 1 Evaluation of candidate's knowledge in MySQL, Python, data analysis concepts, and problem-solving ability.
- Technical Round 2 Deeper assessment of technical skills, practical scenarios, and understanding of tools such as Excel, Python libraries, and BI tools.
- HR Round Discussion on communication skills, cultural fit, learning attitude, and role expectations.
Candidates will be shortlisted based on their resume, technical skills, and educational qualifications before proceeding to the interview rounds.
