Role Overview
We are looking for a
Data Analyst Intern who is curious, detail-oriented, and passionate about using data to improve product performance and business growth. You will work closely with the Product, Growth, and Leadership teams to generate insights, build reports, and support data-driven decision making.
This role is ideal for someone who wants hands-on exposure to analytics in a fast-paced consumer app startup.
Key Responsibilities
- Reporting & Dashboards
- Track and maintain daily/weekly business and product performance reports
- Build and update dashboards for key metrics and trends
- Share structured insights and summaries with internal teams
- Product & User Behavior Analysis
- Analyze user journeys and identify drop-offs across key flows
- Track engagement patterns and feature adoption
- Support retention, cohort analysis, and segmentation
- Subscription & Revenue Analytics
- Monitor subscription conversion trends and plan performance
- Support pricing and offer analysis
- Assist in understanding churn, renewals, and revenue patterns
- Campaign & Growth Analytics
- Support performance analysis for acquisition and re-engagement campaigns
- Assist in evaluating influencer performance and referral outcomes
- Help measure effectiveness of different creatives and messaging
- Experimentation & Insights
- Support A/B testing and experiment analysis
- Track impact of product changes on key metrics
- Generate actionable insights and recommendations
- App Performance & Quality Monitoring
- Track app health indicators and release impact
- Identify key user issues through feedback and reviews
- Share findings with product and tech teams
- Data Validation & Tracking Support
- Assist in validating event tracking and reporting accuracy
- Help maintain consistent definitions of KPIs across the team
- Coordinate with product/tech teams to improve data quality

Requirements
- Strong analytical and logical thinking
- Good understanding of numbers, trends, and patterns
- Strong working knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets
- Basic understanding of SQL is preferred
- Good understanding of MongoDB data structure (collections, documents, fields)
- Ability to communicate insights clearly and confidently
- Comfortable working in a startup environment with fast execution
Good to Have
- Prior internship/project experience in analytics, product, or growth
- Understanding of funnels, retention, cohorts, and conversion metrics
- Familiarity with mobile app businesses (B2C / subscription model)
- Experience working with dashboards or reporting tools
