Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated Data Analyst Intern with strong hands-on experience in Python to support our data analysis and automation initiatives. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with datasets, writing Python scripts for data processing, and generating meaningful insights to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and preprocess data using Python.
- Perform data analysis and identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Develop Python scripts for data extraction, transformation, and automation.
- Work with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib/Seaborn for data analysis and visualization.
- Create reports and dashboards to present findings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality across datasets.
- Assist in ad hoc analysis and other data-related projects.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with Python for data analysis.
- Strong knowledge of Pandas, NumPy, and basic data visualization libraries.
- Good understanding of data cleaning, manipulation, and analysis techniques.
- Basic knowledge of SQL is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently.
Eligibility
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Prior academic, internship, or personal projects demonstrating Python-based data analysis are preferred.
