Data Analyst Intern

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst Intern to join our fast-growing healthcare technology team. This internship is designed for individuals who are eager to develop hands-on experience in data analytics, business intelligence, and dashboard development. You will work closely with senior analysts and cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

This role is ideal for students or recent graduates who have foundational knowledge in analytics tools and are looking to gain real-world exposure in a high-growth HealthTech environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in creating interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI

• Support data extraction, cleaning, transformation, and loading (ETL) tasks

• Work with SQL databases to perform basic querying, data validation, and analysis

• Help maintain and document data pipelines and workflow processes

• Collaborate with teams to gather reporting requirements and contribute to data-driven insights

• Knowledge in Power BI - Developing Power BI reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards using Power BI

• Knowledge in making DAX queries on Power BI desktop.- Connecting to data sources, importing data, and transforming data for Business Intelligence

• Excellent analytical thinking for translating data into informative visuals and reports.

• Hands-on experience in: Design stable, reliable and effective databases

• Optimizing DB services

• Performance tuning, DB service optimization

• Participate in data quality audits to ensure accuracy and completeness

• Support automation or analytics tasks using Python

• Query planning and optimization

• Learn and contribute to tasks related to cloud data systems, data modeling, and visualization best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Applicants must be pursuing or have successfully completed a B.Tech in Computer Science. (Mandatory)

• Knowledge of Power BI and interest in dashboard/report development

• Foundational understanding of Python (Pandas, NumPy preferred)

• Experience with SSAS (Multidimensional/tabular), SSRS, SSIS

• Knowledge of GDPR, physical/logical/conceptual data segregation in multi-tenant applications

• Basic SQL skills and familiarity with relational databases

• Eagerness to learn BI tools, cloud platforms, and data engineering concepts

• Strong analytical abilities with attention to detail

Preferred (Good to Have)

• Exposure to any cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP)

• Understanding of basic machine learning concepts

• Familiarity with automation tools (UI Path) is an advantage

• Awareness of healthcare operations or healthcare analytics (not mandatory)
