We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical data analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing complex datasets, generating insights, and supporting business decisions through data-driven approaches. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and stakeholders, to ensure effective use of data.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Analyse large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Define, track, and report key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses and present findings clearly.
- Perform root cause analysis when metrics change and communicate insights effectively.
- Dashboards & Visualisation:
- Design and maintain dashboards using tools like Metabase, Grafana, or Looker.
- Create clear visualizations tailored to different stakeholders.
- Ensure dashboards are accurate, consistent, and up to date.
- Data Quality & Governance:
- Audit and validate data pipelines for quality issues.
- Collaborate with data engineers on schema standards and data quality checks.
- Document data definitions and metric logic.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Partner with product and engineering teams for tracking and instrumentation.
- Support government projects with reporting and insights.
- Translate business problems into analytical frameworks and communicate results.
