Role Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented People Data Analyst to support People Shared Services through data-driven insights and process excellence. This role requires strong expertise in Excel, Oracle/SQL, and Power BI, along with experience in managing large HR datasets (10,000+ records). The ideal candidate will drive reporting, optimize processes, and contribute to building robust SOP and SOP driven operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and analyze large-scale HR datasets (employee data, payroll, attendance, attrition, etc.)
- Develop and maintain HR dashboards and MIS reports using Power BI
- Write, optimize, and manage SQL / Oracle queries and store procedure for data extraction and reporting
- Perform advanced analysis using Excel (Pivot Tables, Lookups, Macros, data modeling, etc.)
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across HR systems
- Create, standardize, and maintain SOPs for HR processes and reporting workflows
- Identify process gaps and recommend improvements in HR Shared Services operations
- Provide actionable insights to HR leadership for decision-making
- Collaborate with HR stakeholders and cross-functional teams for data requirements
- Handle adhoc data requests and periodic reporting
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL querying and database management
- Working knowledge of Power BI (dashboard creation & visualization)
- Experience handling large datasets (10,000+ records or more)
- Strong analytical thinking, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a structured, process-driven environment
Preferred Knowledge / Exposure
- Exposure to ERP systems (SAP / Workline)
- Experience in HR Shared Services / HR Operations / MIS & Data Analytics
- Experience in Process Management and SOP Documentation
- Basic Understanding of HR KPIs and metrics (attrition, headcount, cost, productivity, etc.)
