Data Analyst (Fresher) – Job Description
About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our growing team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates and early-career professionals who are passionate about working with data, identifying trends, and transforming raw information into meaningful business insights.
As a Data Analyst, you will collect, analyze, and interpret data to support business decisions while working closely with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources.
- Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to present business insights.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.
- Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities through data analysis.
- Validate data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality.
- Assist in developing automated reports and performance dashboards.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements.
- Support data-driven decision-making across departments.
- Document data analysis processes and maintain reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Freshers or candidates with 0–2 years of experience.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Charts, Formulas).
- Good understanding of SQL and relational databases.
- Basic knowledge of Python or R for data analysis.
- Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau.
- Strong analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and presentation abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib.
- Understanding of data cleaning and preprocessing techniques.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis and data visualization.
- Basic understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing.
- Internship or academic projects in data analytics or business intelligence.
