Job Title -Data Analyst
Location - Mumbai
Job Description
- Analyze enterprise-wide insurance data (policies, claims, customer, sales) to generate cross-LoB insights.
- Define and maintain KPIs, consistent semantic layers, and shared datasets used across LoBs.
- Develop cross-domain dashboards and management reports.
- Provide standardized metrics, data definitions, and analytical guidance to LoB teams.
- Support regulatory and enterprise reporting (e.g., IRDA requirements).
- Monitor overall business performance metrics such as premium growth, loss ratio and claims trends.
- Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and business teams to define analytical data requirements.
- Identifies and evaluates cross LoB AI opportunities and use cases.
Skills Required
- Strong skills in SQL and data querying.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
- Ability to perform data analysis and interpret business trends.
- Knowledge of insurance metrics and KPIs (loss ratio, combine ratio, premium growth, claims trends).
- Familiarity with Excel and data analysis techniques.
- Basic understanding of data modeling and data pipelines.
- Strong communication and storytelling with data skills.
