We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analysing large datasets to generate actionable insights that drive business decisions across product, marketing, operations, and finance functions. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to understand data needs, build dashboards and reports, and ensure data integrity across systems. Responsibilities
- Data Analysis & Reporting
- Collect, clean, and analyse structured and unstructured data from multiple sources
- Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualisations for business stakeholders
- Perform ad hoc analyses to answer business questions and surface key trends
- Track and report on KPIs across product, marketing, and operations
- Business Intelligence & Insights
- Translate business problems into analytical frameworks and data-driven hypotheses
- Identify patterns, anomalies, and opportunities in data that inform strategic decisions
- Deliver insights on user behaviour, funnel performance, retention, and revenue metrics
- Present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with product, marketing, finance, and operations teams to define metrics and success criteria
- Act as a data champion within the organisation, promoting data literacy and best practices
- Collaborate with engineering to ensure instrumentation and event tracking are correctly implemented
- Governance & Data Quality
- Maintain data dictionaries, documentation, and lineage for key datasets
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and internal data governance policies
- Identify and flag data quality issues proactively and work towards resolution
Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in a data analyst or business analyst role
- Prior experience in fintech, BFSI, or a high-growth startup preferred
- Hands-on experience with dashboarding tools (Tableau, Power BI, Metabase, or similar)
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Excellent communication skills — able to tell stories with data
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy
