Job Description

The Role

We're looking for a Data Analyst – Digital Experience & Behavioural Analytics to join our consulting team at Scaletrix.ai, Contentsquare's India Center of Excellence (CSQ-India COE), and work directly with global clients on their digital products. You'll analyse user journeys, identify friction and drop-offs, and recommend changes that improve conversion, engagement, and retention — using platforms like Heap, Contentsquare, GA4, Adobe Analytics, or Mixpanel alongside SQL and BI tools.

This is a hybrid analytics + consulting role. You'll work closely with client product, marketing, and engineering teams, so strong communication and the ability to explain data clearly to non-technical stakeholders are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Insights & Client Collaboration

  • Translate complex data into clear insights, recommendations, and experimentation hypotheses
  • Communicate findings through presentations and written summaries to client product, marketing, and engineering teams.
  • Understand client KPIs and business goals, and support adoption of data-driven decision-making
  • Partner with clients on scoping problems, making recommendations, and tracking and quantifying impact

Digital & Product Analytics

  • Analyse user journeys, funnels, cohorts, and retention to surface engagement patterns, friction, and drop-offs
  • Identify optimisation opportunities to improve conversion, engagement, and retention.

Marketing & Acquisition Analytics

  • Evaluate traffic quality and acquisition performance across paid, organic, and referral channels using UTMs and attribution frameworks.
  • Connect acquisition data with on-site behaviour to measure end-to-end conversion outcomes.

Dashboards & Reporting

  • Build decision-oriented dashboards in Heap, Contentsquare, Tableau, or Power BI
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistent metric definitions, and documentation across all reporting.

Required Skills & Experience

Essential

  • 4+ years of experience in product analytics, digital analytics, or web analytics
  • Hands-on experience with at least one behavioural analytics platform — Heap, Contentsquare, GA4, Adobe Analytics, Mixpanel, or Amplitude
  • Strong grasp of funnels, cohorts, retention metrics, and behavioural segmentation
  • Ability to frame business problems and translate them into structured data analysis tasks.
  • Strong communication and data storytelling skills, with the ability to explain insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver insights independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Exposure and hands-on experience working with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) to accelerate analysis, automate repetitive tasks, and improve efficiency

Preferred / Good to Have

  • Experience querying analytics datasets using SQL (BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake, etc.)
  • Experience with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Familiarity with A/B testing or experimentation analysis
  • Exposure to client-facing or consulting environments
