Position: Data Analyst Expert - Global functions
Contract Type: Full time- Permanent
Grade: RCS L

Location: MUMBAI - INDIA

We are looking for a highly skilled Data analyst expert to join our global team and drive innovation in supply chain analytics. This role involves leveraging advanced analytical techniques, AI, and operations research to solve complex problems and develop power BI tools. You will play a key part in piloting, productizing, and deploying impactful data-driven use cases across our GSDC COE function.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Data analysis:

Gather and analyze data from different sources to inform business decisions, support process reviews, and drive actionable insights
Apply mathematics and statistics to discover patterns and knowledge in recorded data

Dashboards:

Build data models, analyses, and dashboards (e.g. in Power BI)
Utilize data visualization tools and techniques to create compelling reports, dashboards, and presentations that effectively communicate analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences

Continuous improvement:

Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and automation, driving efficiency and scalability in data analysis and reporting processes
Collaborate with data engineering teams to optimize data infrastructure and workflows, ensuring data availability, accessibility, and reliability.

Stakeholder / Matrix management:

Drive the definition of project contents, deliverables, and timelines of data analytics projects, usually of a descriptive or diagnostic nature
Liaise and coordinate with all relevant parties (e.g. data owners, data scientists, data engineers, and other technical personnel) across functions, as well as the respective user community and business decision makers to share best practices.

Coaching and development:

Support dashboard expertise in the business by providing training, coaching, and sparring initiatives
Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to junior analysts, assisting them in enhancing their analytical skills and delivering high-quality insights

Requirements

Key Skill Set Needed

Apply practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience
Work independently with general supervision
Problems faced are difficult and complex
Experience in Logistic and Transportation industry
Experienced knowledge in Power Bi both Desktop and Service (Power Query(M Language) + Data Modelling (Data Architecture) + Dax (Data Analysis Expression)+ Visualization (Default & Custom visuals), MS Excel, Experience in Querying Data warehouse, Analytics & Presentation
Good knowledge in Snowflake, VBA, M CODE, SQL, Dax Studio, Tableau Editor, Power Platform like Power Automate, Power Apps etc
Experiences in Control and Change Management
High level of attention to detail
