Data Analyst – Data Modelling & Power BI

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities :

• Perform data modelling activities including data extraction, transformation, cleansing, and validation
• Design and develop efficient data models to support scalable analytics and reporting solutions
• Develop, validate, and maintain dashboards and visualization solutions using Power BI
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, SMEs, and technical teams to understand reporting and analytics requirements
• Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, gaps, and actionable insights
• Develop and maintain database schemas, ETL processes, and reporting structures
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across analytics solutions
• Report project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders on a regular basis
• Create and maintain technical, process, and end-user documentation
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data analytics and business intelligence
  

Qualifications

Qualifications & Skills

• 3-7 years of overall professional experience in Data Analytics / BI Development
• Strong hands-on experience in SQL and T-SQL (mandatory)
• Data Modelling - Knowledge of Star schema & Snowflake schema
• Power BI development experience - DAX, RLS, Gateway and Administration
• Exposure to SSIS, SSAS jobs involve designing, developing, and maintaining data warehouses, ETL processes, and reports
• Exposure to GitHub, Bitbucket, Azure & Databricks
• Exposure to databases such as SQL, Oracle & data warehousing environments
• Understanding of Python (good to have)
• Exposure and experience in Alteryx/Knime will be added advantage
• Client facing experience with good communication skills
• Graduate in Engineering or computer applications/ IT discipline
