Data Eminence is seeking a motivated Data Analyst to join our growing analytics team. In this role, you will work with structured and unstructured data to generate insights, reports, dashboards, and recommendations that support business and operational objectives.

You will collaborate with business, product, marketing, finance, and technology teams to understand analytical requirements and translate data into clear and actionable insights. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience with Excel, SQL, data visualization, statistics, business intelligence platforms, and modern AI-powered analytics tools while working remotely.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Collecting, organizing, and analyzing data from multiple sources
• Cleaning and preparing datasets for analysis
• Writing SQL queries to retrieve and analyze data
• Performing exploratory and descriptive data analysis
• Identifying trends, patterns, anomalies, and business opportunities
• Creating reports, dashboards, charts, and data visualizations
• Working with Excel or similar spreadsheet tools for analysis
• Developing dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms
• Monitoring key performance indicators and business metrics
• Supporting ad-hoc data analysis and business reporting requests
• Validating data accuracy, consistency, and completeness
• Investigating data discrepancies and resolving data quality issues
• Preparing analytical summaries and presenting findings to stakeholders
• Collaborating with business and technical teams to understand data requirements
• Maintaining analytical documentation and data definitions
• Supporting data-driven decision-making across different business functions
• Exploring AI-powered analytics and automation tools to improve reporting and analysis

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field
• 0-2 years of experience in data analysis or a relevant internship/project
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet tools
• Good understanding of SQL and relational databases
• Basic understanding of statistics and data analysis techniques
• Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools
• Basic knowledge of data cleaning and data preparation
• Familiarity with Python and libraries such as Pandas or NumPy is a plus
• Understanding of charts, dashboards, and data visualization principles
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
• Ability to interpret data and communicate findings clearly
• Familiarity with business metrics and KPIs is beneficial
• Experience with academic, personal, or portfolio data analysis projects is a plus
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to organize multiple analytical tasks and meet deadlines
