Data Analyst

Primary Responsibilities:

• Administer a PostgreSQL database and ensure smooth data operation
• Manage and create data sets available through BI tools such as Chartio, Power BI, or others
• Automate and refresh reports and dashboards in a BI tool through queries
• Help improve data quality and data availability by analyzing existing data and datasets
• Provide systems best practices recommendations to enhance the efficiency and overall data quality of our systems

Required Skills/Qualifications:

• BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• 2–5 years of professional experience in SQL querying and proven ability to work with large and complex data sets
• 2–5 years of professional experience working with a BI tool (Power BI, Tableau, Chartio, Domo, Salesforce Einstein, etc.)
• Interest in sales data analytics and data quality
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to gather and analyze large amounts of data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations
• Strong business acumen
• Ability to effectively partner with colleagues of all levels

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

• Experience working with Salesforce.com data
• Previous experience in the education or information technology industry
