About Shaha Finlease:

We are a technology-led NBFC focused on credit resolution and recovery.

We work with financial institutions to manage distressed loan portfolios, using data, analytics, and on-ground execution to maximize recoveries.

We're trying to solve a hard problem:

How do you maximize recoveries from distressed loan portfolios using data

This is not a clean analytics problem.

• Data is messy
• Signals are weak
• Ground realities matter as much as models

This role is for someone who enjoys thinking through real-world problems, not just building dashboards.

You'll work on questions like:

• Why are recoveries dropping in certain cohorts
• Which borrowers are most likely to pay, and when
• What separates high-performing agents from the rest

Important (please read before applying):

• This is a work-from-office role in Mumbai
• This is not a reporting/dashboarding role
• You should be comfortable working with SQL, Python, and messy datasets
• We value people who can use AI tools to think and move faster
