Job Description

Position: Data Analyst / BI Specialist – University Admissions

Department / Team: Digital Marketing

Location: MIT ADT University, Vishwa Rajbaug, Loni Kalbhor, Pune.

Role Overview

Plan, develop, and maintain data-driven dashboards, reports, and business intelligence solutions to support the University's admissions, marketing, and management teams. The role is responsible for transforming raw data into actionable insights that improve lead generation, admission conversion, campaign ROI, and overall decision-making. The Data Analyst works closely with the Digital Marketing, CRM, Admissions, Finance, and Leadership teams to monitor key performance indicators and optimize the student acquisition funnel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using Power BI and Looker Studio for Admissions, Marketing, and Management.
  • Collect, clean, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources including CRM, Google Ads, Meta Ads, Website, ERP, and Lead Management Systems.
  • Monitor and report key admission metrics including Leads, Applications, Admissions, Enrollments, CPL, CPA, Conversion Rate, and ROI.
  • Create daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports for senior management.
  • Build automated dashboards for Campaign Performance, Admission Funnel, Counsellor Performance, Program-wise and Campus-wise Analysis.
  • Analyze student enquiry-to-enrollment journeys and identify opportunities to improve conversion rates.
  • Integrate data from Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Ads, Meta Ads, CRM, ERP, and Excel into centralized dashboards.
  • Perform data validation, cleansing, and quality checks to ensure reporting accuracy.
  • Develop predictive reports and admission forecasting models based on historical trends.
  • Work with the Performance Marketing team to measure campaign effectiveness and optimize marketing spend.
  • Support management with ad hoc reports and data-driven recommendations.
  • Collaborate with IT teams for API integrations and automated reporting solutions.
  • Create executive dashboards to monitor institutional KPIs and business performance.
  • Ensure data security, confidentiality, and governance standards are maintained.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3–6 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Marketing Analytics.
  • Strong experience in Power BI, Looker Studio, Microsoft Excel (Advanced), and SQL.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), Google Ads, and Meta Ads reporting.
  • Experience integrating data from CRM platforms (LeadSquared, HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho CRM).
  • Strong knowledge of Power Query, DAX, Data Modeling, ETL Processes, and Dashboard Development.
  • Working knowledge of Python or R for data analysis is preferred.
  • Experience with BigQuery or cloud-based data warehouses is an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
  • Excellent reporting, visualization, and presentation skills.
  • Good understanding of the Higher Education admissions lifecycle and student acquisition funnel is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or Engineering.
  • Master's degree or relevant certifications in Power BI, Data Analytics, or Business Intelligence will be an added advantage.
