Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst with strong expertise in SQL, relational database management systems (RDBMS), and Python for data analysis and automation. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to extract, transform, analyze, and visualize data to deliver actionable business insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Write complex, optimized SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets efficiently.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in database management, including query design, optimization, performance tuning, and handling large-scale data.
- Apply intermediate to advanced Python skills for data processing, automation, and analytical tasks.
- Conduct sophisticated data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights using tools such as Python and Excel/Spreadsheets.
- Clean, transform, validate, and structure complex datasets to support in-depth analytical requirements.
- Develop advanced visualizations and interactive dashboards using Power BI or Tableau to effectively communicate business insights.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand analytical requirements and translate them into meaningful data-driven solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- SQL & Excel: Strong expertise in SQL and Excel, with the ability to write and optimize complex queries for performance and scalability.
- Python: Strong foundational to intermediate proficiency in Python, particularly Pandas and NumPy, for data manipulation and analysis.
- Data Analysis & Transformation: Proven experience working with large and complex datasets, including data cleaning, transformation, analysis, and interpretation.
- Database Management: Strong understanding of relational databases, query optimization, database structures, and performance considerations.
- Data Visualization: Advanced skills in creating dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI or Tableau.
- Business Acumen: Ability to translate business requirements into analytical solutions and communicate data-driven insights clearly to stakeholders.
