JD DX Manager

Role Overview

The Digital Transformation (DX) Specialist will drive end-to-end digital initiatives across the organization with a strong focus on data analytics, BI tools, automation, and AI/ML solutions. This role will support building a digital-first culture, enhance operational efficiency, and enable data-driven decision-making across all departments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Digital Transformation & Automation

  • Lead and execute digital transformation projects across plants and business units.
  • Identify process gaps and propose automation opportunities using modern technologies.
  • Implement and manage digital workflows, dashboards, and reporting systems.

2. Business Intelligence & Analytics

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance BI dashboards using Power BI and other BI tools.
  • Integrate multiple data sources (SAP, Excel, SQL, cloud systems) to create unified reporting models.
  • Ensure data quality, data cleansing, and validation across all BI solutions.
  • Create user-friendly dashboards for management, including Sales, Production, and Forecast.

3. Data Engineering & Fabric (Microsoft Fabric)

  • Work on Microsoft Fabric for data integration, pipelines, Lakehouse architecture, and real-time insights.
  • Build and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines for reliable and scalable data processing.
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to set up a unified data platform.

4. AI & Machine Learning

  • Develop predictive and prescriptive models to solve business problems (e.g., demand forecasting, quality analytics, breakdown prediction).
  • Work with plant departments to apply AI/ML on operations data (IoT, sensors, machine logs).
  • Evaluate and implement AI/ML tools and frameworks to enhance business processes.

5. Digital Factory & IoT

  • Work closely with operations teams to implement digital factory initiatives.
  • Integrate machine data (MAC, sensors, PLCs) into dashboards and analytical models.
  • Support Industry 4.0 roadmap and ensure alignment with corporate DX goals.

6. Project Management & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver DX projects on time.
  • Prepare project plans, progress reports, and management updates.
  • Train end-users and ensure adoption of digital tools across departments.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong expertise in Power BI, BI tools, and data visualisation.
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric, data lake house, and data pipelines.
  • Proficiency in SQL, database handling, and ETL tools.
  • Hands-on experience in AI/ML models, Python/R preferred.
  • Understanding of IoT systems, machine connectivity, and digital factory concepts.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work closely with business stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 57 years of experience in Digital Transformation, BI, Data Analytics, or related domains.
  • Certifications in Power BI, AI/ML, Azure, or Data Engineering will be an added advantage.
