About the Role:
- The Product Analytics team is looking for a Data Analyst to join its Gurgaon team. The team is mainly focused on Customer personalisation, Engagement, Revenue and Cost part of the Airtel entertainment digital ecosystem.
- As a Data analyst, you will be expected to contribute across pods within the team and will be responsible for generating data-driven insights & recommendations to help leadership in meticulous decision-making.
- The candidate will be a highly motivated and analytically strong hands on Data Analyst with a curiosity to leverage AI/ML workflows to solve complex problems. They will take end-to-end ownership of key metrics aligned with their POD, work with respective product, tech, growth, and business owners to understand what areas we need to measure and how.
- This is a hands-on role that will work closely with Product, Marketing, Tech and Business teams to generate insights, streamline workflows, and support strategic LLM and data science initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze large-scale user behavior and content consumption data to derive actionable insights.
- Build visualizations to track KPIs, product performance, and customer engagement.
- Write complex SQL queries or Python scripts to extract and transform data for analysis.
- Use LLM, ML, SQL, Python, or Excel for data analysis, automation, and predictive modeling.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support experimentation (A/B, Pre-post, etc), user segmentation, and personalization strategies.
- Translate business strategy into analytical problems and deliver actionable data driven insights
- Support ETL processes and data pipeline improvements.
- Present findings clearly to stakeholders with a focus on impact and storytelling
- Collaborate with Product for data tracking and implementation of tools like Clickstream, Google analytics, Branch, Moengage etc.
- Collaborate with engineering to incorporate AI/ML insights into product analysis, utilizing basic predictive modelling, sentiment analysis, or LLM-driven data workflows.
Required Qualifications
- :B.Tech / BE degree in Computer Science / related technical field or Statistics / Operations Research background
- .3+ years of hands-on experience in analytics
- .Expert-level proficiency in SQL, Python, and Tableau
- .Strong data manipulation, statistical analysis, and problem-solving skills
- .Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate data into business insights
- .Familiarity with basic machine learning concepts (regression, classification, clustering) and hands-on experience using AI APIs and prompt engineering for data synthesis

- :Experience working with large datasets and distributed computing frameworks like PySpark
- .Understanding of Airflow, ETL processes, data build tools and data engineering basics
- .Ability to effectively manage and communicate datamart plans to internal customers
- .Academic background in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field
