Data Analyst AI Consulting

TailorFlow AI is a Cambridge-based enterprise AI services company that designs and delivers bespoke solutions for complex business problems. We help enterprises and ambitious mid-market organisations identify valuable AI opportunities and implement systems that work in real business environments.

Our customers are based across the UK, South Africa, the Americas and Australia. Most work happens asynchronously, offering flexibility in how team members structure their day. Depending on the project, you should be comfortable maintaining three to four hours of overlap with the relevant customer geography.

We are a small, growing team primarily based in Cambridge, with newer team members working remotely from India. As our international customer base grows, we are adding more remote team members in India.

We are looking for a Data Analyst to help our consulting and engineering teams understand client data and turn it into actionable insight.

You will explore datasets, assess quality, identify patterns and support the design and validation of bespoke AI solutions.

• Explore, clean and analyse structured and unstructured client data.
• Assess data quality, completeness and suitability for AI use cases.
• Define metrics and prepare clear analytical summaries.
• Support model evaluation, testing and output validation.
• Create visualisations and communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Work with consultants and engineers to translate analysis into solution decisions.

• One to three years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence or analytics.
• Strong spreadsheet skills and working knowledge of SQL.
• Ability to identify data-quality issues and explain their implications.
• Clear analytical communication and attention to detail.
• Curiosity about AI and applied machine learning.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.

• Experience with Python, Power BI, Tableau or similar tools.
• Exposure to text, document or operational datasets.
• Experience supporting consulting or client-facing projects.
