About the Role
We are looking for a Data Analyst for a project focused on analyzing Fertilizer Movement Control Systems (FMC) and Seed Movement Control Systems (SMC).
The purpose of this role is to assess the performance of existing systems, validate data accuracy, identify errors and patterns, and provide practical recommendations to improve data quality and operational reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze Excel data exports from FMC and SMC systems.
- For each equipment trip, compare written-off inventory items with actual calculated values.
- Perform statistical analysis of equipment operations across multiple dimensions (time periods, equipment types, regions, etc.).
- Analyze system errors, prepare error statistics, and identify or confirm the absence of correlations.
- Conduct at least 50 control checks for each system (FMC and SMC), validating sensor data against video recordings from onboard recorders.
- Provide conclusions regarding system accuracy.
- Prepare an analytical report with findings and practical recommendations to improve system accuracy.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Data Analyst in an agricultural company.
- Hands-on experience working with raw data exports from accounting and monitoring systems.
- Experience reconciling data from multiple sources (system actual performance sensors / video).
- Ability to structure large datasets and translate them into clear business insights and actionable recommendations.
- Experience preparing analytical reports with clear conclusions.
- Understanding of inventory (materials) accounting and agricultural equipment operations.
- Willingness to perform control validations (50+ checks) and assess system accuracy.
Expected Deliverables
By the end of the project, the candidate is expected to provide:
- An analytical report on FMC and SMC system performance.
- Error statistics and dependency analysis.
- Conclusions on actual system accuracy.
- Practical recommendations to improve data quality and operational accuracy.
