Position Overview:
The Data Analyst is responsible for analyzing healthcare data to support decision-making, improve patient outcomes, and optimize operational efficiency. This role involves gathering, processing, and analyzing data from multiple sources to provide actionable insights that drive clinical and business strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Collection and Management:
- Collect, organize, and maintain large datasets from various healthcare sources.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Develop and maintain databases and data systems.
2. Data Analysis:
- Analyze clinical and operational data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Utilize statistical methods and data analysis tools to interpret data.
- Generate reports and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
3. Performance Monitoring:
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to patient care, clinical outcomes, and operational efficiency.
- Develop dashboards and reports to track performance metrics.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve performance.
4. Research and Evaluation:
- Support clinical research by providing data analysis and interpretation.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of healthcare interventions and programs.
- Conduct comparative effectiveness research and outcome studies.
5. Support Decision-Making:
- Collaborate with clinical, operational, and executive teams to support data-driven decision-making.
- Provide data insights to inform strategic planning and resource allocation.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Health Informatics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in the healthcare or medical industry.
Skills:
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, R, Python, SAS).
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
