Data & AI Strategy Consultant

Pan India (Bengaluru, Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad, Gurgaon, Kolkata)
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data & AI Strategy Consultant to drive enterprise data and AI transformation initiatives. The role focuses on building data and AI strategies, delivering use cases, enabling governance frameworks, and supporting pre-sales, research, and thought leadership activities.
- Develop and implement enterprise-wide data and AI strategies, frameworks, and transformation roadmaps
- Conduct data and AI assessments and translate AI maturity assessment into prioritized roadmaps aligned with business outcomes
- Identify, assess, and solve client business problems using a data-driven approach to derive actionable strategy
- Lead or support end-to-end AI use case delivery including discovery workshops, use case definition, execution, and presentation to senior stakeholders
- Create functional requirement documents (FRDs) based on customer and business needs
- Design and implement data governance frameworks covering data quality, metadata, lineage, MDM, and data catalog
- Act as a SPOC for global master data management initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Ensure alignment of data governance practices with regulatory and compliance requirements
- Define AI observability standards including decision traceability, hallucination control, and data lineage
- Support AI risk, governance, and Agentic AI architecture frameworks
- Work with IT and business stakeholders to advise on data stack evolution and strategic investments in an Agentic AI landscape
- Support and lead RFP/RFI development including opportunity shaping, proposal writing, pricing, and solution presentations
- Participate in AI-driven POCs, accelerators, and pre-sales/business development initiatives
- Conduct secondary research and develop thought leadership assets such as POVs, whitepapers, and market insights
- Create data assessment reports, maturity scorecards, and risk analysis artifacts and present them clearly to stakeholders
- Work with large, structured and unstructured datasets to derive insights and business value
- Collaborate with global stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of programs
- Manage programs using Agile/SAFe methodologies and ensure alignment with business objectives
- Expertise in Data Strategy domains including Data Governance, Data Quality, MDM, Metadata, Data Lineage, Data Catalog, and Ontology
- Familiarity with medallion architecture and semantic data layers
- Knowledge of GenAI, LLM applications, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), and Agentic AI workflows
- Understanding of AI assessment frameworks, roadmap creation, and transformation strategies
- Working knowledge of Agentic AI architecture, risk, and governance
- Familiarity with Agile / SAFe methodologies
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Management, or related field
- 6 to 10 years expertise
- MBA (Tier 1 / Tier 2 institutes preferred)
- Experience in one of the industries – Supply chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Retail will be an added advantage
