Role Overview
FutureTEC is seeking a senior, market-facing Data & AI Advisory Department Manager to lead and grow its Data & AI advisory function within the Advisory & Assurance Services Division (AASD).
This role is responsible for shaping, positioning, and scaling structured advisory services that help organizations design, govern, and adopt Data & AI capabilities aligned with business objectives, digital trust principles, and regulatory requirements.
This is an advisory leadership role, focused on strategy, governance, executive engagement, and service portfolio development not hands-on engineering or technical platform delivery.
Key Responsibilities
1. Department Leadership & Strategic Direction
- Lead the Data & AI Advisory Department within AASD.
- Define the department roadmap, priorities, and service portfolio.
- Establish structured methodologies and advisory frameworks.
- Build and scale a high-performing advisory team.
2. Advisory Service Portfolio Ownership
Design, own, and evolve a structured Data & AI advisory portfolio, including:
- Enterprise Data & AI Strategy and roadmap design
- AI governance and responsible AI frameworks
- Data governance operating models and stewardship frameworks
- AI adoption and maturity models
- Business-aligned AI use-case prioritization
- Regulatory, compliance, and risk-aligned advisory frameworks
- Target-state operating models and transformation guidance
- Ensure services are clearly packaged, commercially viable, and aligned with AASD positioning.
3. Market & Executive Engagement
- Lead executive workshops, advisory sessions, and strategy discussions.
- Support sales and presales in positioning Data & AI advisory offerings.
- Contribute to proposals, RFP responses, and executive-level deliverables.
- Articulate complex Data & AI topics in clear, business-oriented language.
4. Commercial & Portfolio Contribution
- Contribute to pipeline growth and advisory revenue targets.
- Support service pricing models and structured scope definition.
- Identify emerging opportunities in AI governance, data strategy, and regulatory-driven transformation.
- Position Data & AI advisory as a strategic enabler within enterprise transformation initiatives.
5. Advisory Delivery Oversight & Quality Assurance
- Provide senior oversight across advisory engagements.
- Review and validate key deliverables before client submission.
- Ensure advisory outcomes are defensible, structured, and executive-ready.
6. Cross-Division Collaboration
- Work closely with GRC, Digital Trust, and Cybersecurity teams.
- Ensure Data & AI advisory integrates seamlessly into broader advisory engagements.
- Maintain clear separation from technical implementation and solution delivery functions.
Required Experience
- 710 years of experience in Data, AI, Analytics, or Digital Advisory roles.
- Strong background in enterprise data strategy, AI governance, and advisory-led transformation.
- Proven experience in consulting environments (Big-4 or equivalent strongly preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to engage C-level stakeholders and design advisory portfolios.
