Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience as an Application Architect or Solution Architect.
- Expert level proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem, with some proficiency in JavaScript-based UI frameworks (Angular preferred) and SQL Server.
- Hands-on experience in Azure cloud resource selection, provisioning, and configuration/management, including:
- Azure App Services/ Function Apps.
- Azure API Management.
- Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and Blob Storage.
- Azure Service Bus and Event Grid.
- Strong understanding of cloud design patterns and software architecture principles, including:
- Microservices architecture.
- Event-driven/serverless architectures.
- RESTful/HTTP API design and integration.
- Design patterns and best practices.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps for CI/CD, pipeline management, and release automation with knowledge of :
- Azure DevOps pipelines.
- Infrastructure as Code.
- Git and version control strategies.
- Experience implementing security controls, including:
- Role-based access controls.
- Secure coding practices.
- Identity and access management (Azure AD, OAuth2, OpenID Connect).
- Experience with AI-enabled application development, and use of generative AI tools for coding assistance (GitHub Copilot).
- Ability to review software solutions for architectural soundness, adherence to design patterns, code quality, and security considerations.
- Excellent ability to explain complex architectural concepts through diagrams, written documentation, and verbal discussions.
Preferred Skills
- Previous experience in the US mortgage or financial services software industry.
- Basic proficiency in Python a plus.
