Define and evolve ad placements, formats, inventory strategy and monetization surfaces within the product.
Innovate and lead the ideation and delivery of innovative ad offerings, brand solutions, interactive and rich ad units to maximize revenue while enhancing the user experience.
Innovate on ad tech, targeting, audience segments and identify opportunities to maximize advertiser value with highly targeted advertising.
Balance revenue objectives with editorial integrity, product quality and user trust.
Drive revenue growth through structured experimentation across ad load, placement strategy, targeting, personalization, and format innovation.
Use modern AI tools to accelerate research, ideation, prototyping and analysis, reducing time from idea to real user validation.
Rapidly convert product concepts into working prototypes or interactive flows that can be tested with a small cohort of users before full engineering investment.
Continuously improve key monetisation metrics such as fill rate, viewability, CTR, yield and overall performance.
Develop a strong understanding of user behaviour, advertiser demand and the evolving digital news ecosystem.
Use market analysis, user research and competitive benchmarking to identify monetisation opportunities.
Who You Are
5+ years of Product Management experience, with at least 1-2 years of direct experience in ad monetisation, programmatic advertising, or yield optimisation.
Hands-on familiarity with ad networks, SSPs/DSPs, or header bidding setups is strongly preferred.
Experience working with ad tech platforms such as Google Ad Manager, Amazon TAM, or similar, including setting up inventory, managing ad units, and running yield experiments.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with high ownership and autonomy.
Comfortable working hands-on with modern AI tools and workflows to improve speed and quality of product execution.
Actively explores and adopts new tools (AI or otherwise) to improve research, prototyping, analysis and day-to-day product workflows.
Strong collaboration and communication skills, and ability to work across cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decisions.
