Role: D365 SCM Consultant
Location: Bangalore/ Hyderabad/Chennai
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 SCM Consultant with over 10 years of expertise in implementing, configuring, and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management solutions. The candidate will play a key role in end-to-end ERP transformation projects, business process optimization, stakeholder management, and solution delivery across manufacturing, retail, distribution, or logistics industries.
The ideal candidate should possess strong functional knowledge of supply chain processes, excellent client engagement skills, and hands-on experience in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (SCM modules).
Experience range – 08-10 years
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end implementation and support projects for Dynamics 365 SCM.
- Conduct business requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, and solution design workshops.
- Configure and implement SCM modules including:
- Procurement & Sourcing
- Inventory Management
- Warehouse Management
- Transportation Management
- Master Planning
- Product Information Management
- Production Control
- Sales & Distribution
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and solution designs.
- Collaborate with technical, integration, and development teams for customizations and enhancements.
- Drive data migration, testing, training, UAT, and go-live activities.
- Provide post-production support and continuous process improvements.
- Mentor junior consultants and support knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Engage with business stakeholders and leadership teams to provide strategic SCM recommendations.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and delivery governance
Functional Expertise
- Strong knowledge of supply chain and manufacturing business processes.
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 SCM / Finance & Operations.
- Experience in multiple full lifecycle D365 implementations.
- Hands-on experience in advanced warehouse and inventory management processes.
- Knowledge of demand forecasting, planning, procurement, and logistics operations.
Technical & Integration Knowledge
- Understanding of:
- Power Platform
- Azure integrations
- Data Management Framework (DMF)
- Dual write
- Lifecycle Services (LCS)
- Electronic Reporting (ER)
- Exposure to integrations with third-party systems and ISV solutions.
Project & Consulting Skills
- Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead workshops and solution discussions independently.
- Experience working in Agile and waterfall delivery models.
