# Job Description: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) Functional Consultant – Finance & SCM

## About the Role

We are looking for a skilled **Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) Functional Consultant** with 3–4 years of hands-on experience in Finance, SCM modules and implementation projects. The ideal candidate should have practical experience in configuring, implementing, and troubleshooting D365 F&O Finance functionalities.

Experience working with **construction, EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction), or GCC-based organizations** will be an added advantage.

## Key Responsibilities

- Configure, implement, and support D365 F&O Finance modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Cash & Bank Management.

- Manage Chart of Accounts (CoA), financial dimensions, account structures, posting profiles, journals, and financial period management.

- Configure and support vendor collaboration processes, vendor master data, invoice processing, payment journals, and vendor reconciliation.

- Support customer master data, invoicing, receipts, collections, and accounts receivable reconciliation.

- Configure and maintain fixed asset books, asset acquisition, depreciation, transfers, disposals, and asset reporting.

- Support Asset Management functionality and its integration with Finance, wherever applicable.

- Assist with financial data migration using Data Management Framework (DMF/DIXF), including master data, opening balances, and transactional data.

- Prepare and maintain Functional Design Documents (FDDs), functional specifications, configuration documents, and user guides.

- Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect resolution, and end-user training.

- Understand and support UAE localization requirements, including VAT configuration, Tax Engine, and statutory reporting, as applicable.

- Collaborate with technical consultants, project managers, business stakeholders, and client teams to deliver project milestones.

- Provide post-go-live support, troubleshoot functional issues, and ensure smooth business operations.

- Strong customer-facing skills with the ability to conduct requirement-gathering sessions, understand business needs, and translate them into suitable D365 F&O functional solutions.

- Ability to deliver customer training and functional walkthroughs, resolve queries and doubts, and manage stakeholder communication throughout the implementation lifecycle.

## Good to Have

- Experience working with construction, EPC, infrastructure, real estate, or facilities management organizations.

- Experience supporting clients in the GCC region, particularly the UAE.

- Knowledge of UAE VAT, localization requirements, Tax Engine, and statutory reporting.

- Exposure to Budget Control, Project Management and Accounting (PMA), or Subscription Billing.

- Familiarity with procurement, project costing, vendor management, and project-related financial processes.

- Microsoft certifications related to Dynamics 365 Finance, such as MB-310 or equivalent credentials.

## Education

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance certification or other relevant Microsoft certifications will be preferred.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on functional consultant who can understand business requirements, configure D365 F&O Finance modules, work closely with technical teams, and support the complete implementation lifecycle. Candidates with construction/EPC industry exposure and GCC project experience will be given preference.
