D365 F&O Finance Consultant

Role Description The D365 F&O Finance Consultant will work on-site in Ahmedabad in a full-time capacity, partnering with clients to design, configure, and implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations modules. Responsibilities include gathering and analyzing business requirements, mapping finance processes to D365 functionality, and preparing functional design documents and configuration workbooks. The consultant will support end-to-end implementation activities, conduct system testing, lead user training sessions, and assist with data migration and go-live support. The role involves collaborating closely with technical teams, finance stakeholders, and project managers to optimize financial workflows, ensure compliance, and enhance reporting and analytics. Ongoing tasks include troubleshooting system issues, recommending process improvements, and contributing to best practices and documentation.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in core Finance, including financial statements, budgeting, and cost control, with practical experience in Microsoft D365 F&O for 2+ years.
• Analytical Skills and problem-solving abilities to interpret financial data, document business requirements, and design efficient process and system solutions.
• Experience in Financial Planning, forecasting, and financial modeling to support client decision-making and long-term strategy within D365 F&O.
• Consulting expertise, including stakeholder management, requirement gathering, and presenting recommendations tailored to diverse industries and geographies.
• Hands-on Accounting knowledge, including GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, and tax configurations, preferably across multi-entity and multi-currency environments.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; professional certifications such as CA, CPA, CMA, or Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications are an advantage.
• Experience with full-cycle ERP implementations, especially D365 F&O, and familiarity with global tax and compliance requirements is highly beneficial.
• Strong communication and documentation skills, ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, and readiness to work on-site in Ahmedabad.
